The School of Computer Science and Technology

Overview

The School of Computer Science and Technology at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) was established in 1989. The School has been committed to the research and development of information technology, R & D cooperation and exchanges, as well as quality programs, courses and teaching resources, with the mission of cultivating top-notch talents in the field. After 30 years of evolution, it has developed into a computer science school with distinctive academic strength and growing impact both at home and abroad.

Rankings and Affiliations

l The Computer Science and Technology is a “Double First-Class” discipline approved by Chongqing Municipal Government.

l The Computer Application Technology is a provincial and ministerial key discipline approved by the Ministry of Information Industry and Chongqing Municipality.

l The Computer Software and Theory and the Computer System Structure are provincial and ministerial key disciplines approved by Chongqing Municipality.

l Our school is the attached institute to the Professional Committee on Rough Sets and Soft Computing of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence.

l Our school is one of the chair members of Chongqing Association for Artificial Intelligence and one of the vice chair members of Chongqing Computer Association.
